How it all began

What turned into a love story started as mere coincidence...Rachel and Dalton met at a gathering thrown by Dalton and his roommates during their junior year of college at the University of Wyoming. Not long after meeting, the two were snowed in together during a snow emergency. They were stuck together for 3 days and quickly became fond of one another, it turned out to be the perfect chance to get to know one another. They spent the rest of the semester with friends: hiking, studying, and working out. After a summer apart, Dalton flew to Chicago to be with Rachel on the way back to school, where they reconnected and became official. Rachel and Dalton spent their senior year at Wyoming together before moving to Illinois together and beginning their careers in 2022.
And the rest is history
They immediately began traveling, having been to Mexico, Japan, Wyoming, Utah, Florida, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Arizona and The Bahamas (twice) since graduation. They coach a cheerleading team together and have been working on renovating their home. When they are not working or coaching, they spend their time traveling, camping, and being nerds. They just bought a home where they live happily with their pets; Noir the cat, Jake the dog, and their fish. From snowy beginnings to building a home together, their journey has been full of adventure, and they can’t wait for what comes next.
